At Ready and Relevant, the safety and well-being of our participants and staff is our top priority. We are constantly monitoring the COVID-19 crisis by using the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) for information and guidance to find the best solutions to support our community through distance in-person meetings and virtual programming.

The young women of color in our program are highly impacted by the coronavirus spread, and experiencing a great increase in challenges—from reduced income to unstable housing situations and school closures.

At Ready and Relevant, we are steadfast in our relief-to-recovery approach. We assess each woman’s current needs, tap into the specific resources that will mitigate her hardships right now, and provide ongoing support as she finds a way forward.
